ABOUT THE EDITOR
SARAH WINTERBURN
Footy Rocks is edited by Sarah Winterburn who is so good at her job that she even managed to make my writing seem vaguely literate. Thankfully she implicitly understands and appreciates whack jobs like me. She's disciplined but easy to work with and she really knows her stuff when it comes to all those dots, hyphens and split infinitives that you never bothered learning about at school because you were staring out the window wondering when the next UFO album was coming out. That's why she's always in demand. But if you need an editor for any project get Sarah if you can. She's special.

BIOGRAPHY
Sarah Winterburn is as passionate about apostrophes as she is about football, music and filth, which has made her the ideal editor of Football365.com and the perfect person to edit John Nicholson's first book “Footy Rocks”.
She started her journalism career back in 1996 (after picking up an honours degree in journalism) and had soon garnered a sheaf of cuttings from national newspapers, magazines and books. In 1999 she hopped aboard the internet bandwagon and - though the promised wheelbarrow-load of money and villa in Spain never materialised - she has led Football365 through a period of unprecedented popularity.
She has moulded Football365 in her own image - opinionated, cynical but with a massive love of the sport and all its machinations.
Returning to her native Yorkshire after an 11-year absence in London and then Cape Town (just like Huddersfield), Sarah divides her time between Football365, writing for the Daily Mirror and correcting John Nicholson's grammar (a full-time job in itself, this is a man who is steadfast in his belief that 'glamouress' is the proper spelling).
With one foot in the creative camp and the other in the place where people know the difference between colons and semi-colons, Sarah has a love and a respect of the English language that makes her a perfect foil for those whose passion for their subject is not matched by their grasp of grammar or the 20/20 vision to see when something could be half as long and twice as good.
Sarah is available for hire to those authors who prefer not to sell their soul to the publishing devil, who want their rough diamond polished without having it nicked from under their nose.
